The God of Peace
Jesus Christ is the provider of Peace with God. Romans. 5:1-2. “Having been justified by faith, we now have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
God is the source and provider of peace. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.”
Seeking peace with God. Philippeans 4:6-9. “…let your requests be made to God, and the peace of God….will guard you heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
Now the God of peace that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep…make you perfect in every good work to do his will…Hebrews 13:20-21.
Finally bretheren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11.
Now in Christ Jesus ye who were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us…and came and preached peace to you who were afar off…Ephesians 2:13-17.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you…let not you heart be troubled, neither be afraid. John 14:27
Let the peace of God rule in your hearts…ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way…2 Thessalonians 3:16.
The Lord bless you and keep you…the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8.
