Christ Foreordained from Eternity
Christ Was Foreordained Before The Foundation Of The World. I Peter 1:20.
1 Peter 1: 18-21. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Christ Came To Save His People From Their Sins. Matthew 1:18-21.
Vs. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Christ Came to Give His Life A Ransom For Many. Mathew 20:28
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His Life a ransom for many.
Christ came at the Fullness of Time. Galations 4:4-5.
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
The Fullness of Time was to fullfil the prophesy that Jesus would be crucified. Psalm 22:16. This would occur when Israel was under Roman rule. Christ came to redeem Jews and Gentiles.
We were chosen in Christ Before the Foundation of the World. Ephesians 1:4.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
All things were created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:13-17.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Christ appointed heir of all things and His Throne is for ever and ever. Hebrews 1:2-3, 8.
But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. But unto the Son He saith THY THRONE, O GOD IS FOR EVER AND EVER.
