Prophet Haggai
Haggai was the 10th of the Minor prophets in the Old Testament

Haggai is a Hebrew name referring to a pilgrims mission to restore.
Haggai was the first of the restoration prophets-after the captivity of Judah ended. He was born during and possibly in the land of captivity. Date is 520 B.C.
The Prophet Haggai instructing Zerubabel Governor of Juda and Joshua the High Priest to rebuild the Temple of God.
His main message to the people of Jerusalem to rebuild the House of the Lord.
Key verses.
Ch.1:2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts ‘this people say,”the time has not come…for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.”
Ch.1:4-5 “Is it time for you to dwell in your panelled houses while this house lays desolate?”…”consider your ways says the Lord of hosts.”
Ch.1:6 “You have sown much but harvest little, you eat but there is not enough to be satisfied…you have clothing but no one is warm enough, and he who earns earns wages to put into a purse with holes.”
Ch.1:12 “Then Zerubbabel and Joshua the high priest with all the remnants of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord…”
Ch.2:3 “Who is left among you who saw this temple and it’s former glory? and how do you see it now? Does it not seem like nothing in comparison?.
Ch 2:6 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: in a little while I will shake the heavens and the earth…the sea and the dry land.”
Ch. 2:9 “The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I shall give peace.”
