Trials and Suffering
Trials and suffering of the believers.
Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 1:2-3 & 12-13.
Psalm 30:1-5. “Weeping may endure for a nite but joy comes in the morning.” Joy comes after the negative has been transformed. We must hold fast in faith snd hope looking for the morning.
Job 5:17-26. “Happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee…Thou shalt know that thy seed shall be great, and thy offspring as the grass of the earth. Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season.”
Analogy of the shock of corn:
Planted at just the right time.
Cultivated at just the right time.
Cut down at just the right time.
Husked at just the right time.
Gathered at just the right time.
