The Thirsty Soul
MY SOUL THIRSTETH FOR THEE IN A DRY AND THIRSTY LAND. Psalm 63:1-5,7-8.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Psalm 143:1-6.
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God, when shall I come and appear before God? Psalm 42:1-2,11.
Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1,3.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.
The Samaritan woman at the well. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water…Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. Revelationa 22:17.
