God’s amazing plan from eternity leads to the creation of the Heavens and the Earth
The earth was formed with a perfect relationship to the Solar system. The Earth's place in the solar system, and the speed with which it rotates around the sun, create 24-hour days with night and day and allows the humans and other living creatures God created to function and survive. The earth’s atmosphere provided oxygen for humans and animals to breath.
The earth consisted of the mountains, the rivers the oceans, the trees that yielded fruit, and the pasture land needed to feed the animals that God provided for mankind.
From Eternity God planned to create man in His image. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God and allowed Satan to introduce sin into humanity. God forgave them, made the first animal scrifice for them, and clothed them. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21.
From eternity God knew that Mankind would sin against Him and that He will redeem sinful man by sending His Son Jesus Christ to redeem sinful humanity. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.
Jesus is referred to as “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” Revelation 13:8b.
Jesus died, rose again and will return (His second coming) to gather His followers: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians4:16-18.
The Eternal State of Humanity.
There will be a New Heaven and New Earth for the redeemed who came to faith in
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4.
The Devil that deceived humanity will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever.” Revelation 21:10
The Bible speaks of a second death and hell for the wicked. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:12-14.
